Punch for a Bunch

‘Tis the season for parties, gatherings, dinners—all things community and family centered. Drinks and food for a crowd can sometimes seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be!
Try out some of our favorite punch recipes if you’re serving drinks for a large group.
Dale’s Rainbow Planter’s Punch
5 oz Myers's Dark Rum
5 oz Appleton White Rum
3 oz Orange curaƧao
6 oz Fresh orange juice
6 oz Pineapple juice
3 oz Simple syrup
1⁄2 oz St. Elizabeth allspice dram
3 oz Fresh lime juice
3 oz Grenadine
1 tbsp Angostura bitters
Combine all the ingredients in a large pitcher or bowl.
Before serving, shake individual drinks in a shaker with ice and strain into punch cups or large goblets filled three-quarters of the way with ice.
Garnish each drink with pineapple, orange, and lime slices.

Watermelon Lemonade Margaritas
1 cup tequila
1/2 cup triple sec
1.5 cup midori
2 cups watermelon juice
4 cups prepared lemonade
Start with a half a medium-large seedless watermelon. Slice it, remove the rind. Puree the watermelon in a blender then strain it through a mesh strainer. You'll be left with about 4 cups of watermelon juice, depending on the size of your melon. Chill all ingredients. Stir all ingredients in a pitcher, garnish with watermelon and lemon slices.

Sparkling Pomegranate Punch
2 oranges, thinly sliced crosswise
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
3/4 cup late-harvest white wine, such as late-harvest Riesling, chilled
Ice cubes, for serving
Two 750-milliliter bottles sparkling wine, chilled
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cup diced fresh pineapple (1/2 inch)
1 cup pomegranate juice
In a punch bowl, dissolve the sugar in the pomegranate juice, stirring vigorously. Add the sparkling wine and late-harvest white wine, then add the orange slices, diced pineapple and pomegranate seeds. Serve the sparkling pomegranate punch over ice cubes.
