Nashville Brewery Tour

October 16, 2018

In the past, Tennessee craft beers have taken a back seat to the notable spirits of the state- whiskey and moonshine. However, the Volunteer State is home to some wonderful breweries and craft brews. If you’ve got a couple days or a long weekend, take a Nashville brewery tour and check out some of the best southern beers.

Bearded Iris

The Bearded Iris Taproom is open 7 days a week to visitors. The taproom has a vintage bar vibe, with cozy seating, warm lighting, and an inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re grabbing a pint on a Saturday afternoon or just aren’t quite ready to head home after work, Bearded Iris invites you to visit.

The taproom is kid-friendly and BYO food. Pets are also welcome on the patio area, thus making it ideal for a family fun weekend!

Their “Hoppy Hour” includes:
Monday – Friday 5 pm to 6pm
$3 IPAs
$5 Double IPAs

Yazoo Brewing Company

Yazoo is a popular Nashville original, with tours and a taproom to enjoy.

Hear about the history of the Yazoo Brewery and learn about the assorted styles of beer on one of their tours. Tours are inexpensive at $8.00 a person and include a souvenir logo glass and samples of beer along the tour. Tour at 5:00 and 6:00 every Wednesday and Thursday and Friday, and beginning every 30 minutes on Saturdays 12:00-5:00PM.

If you’re looking for a leisurely way to enjoy Yazoo, head over to the taproom that’s open 7 days a week. Patrons can enjoy a variety of beers and small bites (and the occasional food truck!) at the taproom. Check out their menu here>>>
